If you are concerned about your performance in a specific class where grades have not yet been posted, please consult your syllabus or professor to get a rough idea of your current standing in the class.
There are three reasons a student can be placed on Academic Probation at the end of any regular (non-Summer or May) term:rnu003culu003ern tu003cliu003eFailure to maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA in the major (once declared) or overall;u003c/liu003ern tu003cliu003eNot meeting the total credits identified in the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Chart;u003c/liu003ernu003c/ulu003ernFailure to satisfactorily complete the equivalent of three (3) credits in a regular term.

Berea College offers three main categories of Financial Assistance: grants/scholarships that do not have to be repaid, loans that must be repaid, and earnings from work. Student Life offers a transportation service for Berea College students called the “BC Express.” This 12-passenger van operates during regular hours three days a week to provide transportation for students to local towns and businesses.
To know if you have a final exam in your class, it is best for you to contact your respective professors. Staying over breaks during the fall and spring semesters don’t have associated expenses, but if the student decides to stay over the Summer or Winter they will have to pay expenses for food and housing and other minor expenses.rnrnu0026nbsp;rnrnIf the student decided to stay over the Summer they can work or work and study. Summer classes are available by the time the fall registration is open. For more information on financial aid (finaid@berea.edu), housing (housing@berea.edu) and classes (sst@berea.edu) please contacted the respective department in the brackets. Students are not required to live on campus during the summer term if participating in labor or taking courses.
