The spring concert is titled “Hold Fast to Dreams” from Langston Hughes’ poem.

The Berea College Concert Choir is conducted by Dr. Xiangtang Hong, an associate professor of music at Berea College. Hong has led choir tours in the United States, Canada, Hungary, Romania, Germany and Poland.

The Berea College Concert Choir was founded in 1949 to create an appropriate music service for Sunday evening chapel.

For more than 60 years, the choir has traveled extensively to most states east of the Mississippi, Canada, Europe and Asia. They perform one large concert each semester, participate in the Annual Celebration of Christmas concert and perform during Homecoming weekend.
